When enabled, cards show a “Deeper look via Claude” button. When disabled, the button is fully hidden on the public site (not greyed out). Defaults off if ANTHROPIC_API_KEY is missing.
Both actions show a pre-flight cost preview first (no API spend). Only “Confirm & run” executes for real.
Safeguards: Discovery respects FMP’s reserve and never touches Alpha Vantage. Smart Refresh respects each source’s reserve and only refreshes genuinely stale fields. Both share one in-progress lock so they cannot run at the same time.
Recommended order: Run Discovery first to update the board, then Smart Refresh to fill gaps and promote any remaining eligible candidates with leftover quota.
